Dilemma's essay

My name is Eli and I'm in a dilemma. I have been trying to get a certification in English. The problem that I have is the lack of time. I'd like to apply for an international exchange but because of my uncertified status I cannot do it right now; actually, I have to get a certificate before attemting to do the registration on the global webpage of the university.

Last week, the Test of English for Foreigner Learners in its institucional category was applied at CELE but I could not do it because of the limit in registration. I felt really sorry because I lost my chance. Right now I'm in a crossroad; I have to make a decision, the options are very limited because I have no certification. I can decide between 3 choices.

First: Let away the call for apply this year and get prepared for next year calling as while I should be practicing my English in every aspect: listening, reading, speaking and pronunciation. If I chose this one I would have got the benefit of a better English than I have right now. The dissadventage of this option is that the exchange will be for the academic year 2014.1 or 2014.2 and I think it is too much time an also I will be ending my major because at that time I will be coursing my 9th (2014.1) semester or 10th (2014.2) semester wich reduces my chances to be elected as a candidate for exchange.

Second: Do everything that I can. I've been doing inquiries to many language schools and all schools that are accepted for the international department of the university are giving the test the sooner in January 2012. CUC is going to administer the TOEFL on December the 7th and the result will be received on December the 15th, the only problem with that is the deadline, wich is December 15th!!! And it is supposed that the registration should be done by that time!

Third: Apply this year for international exchange to Spanish-speaking countries. It is not my favorite idea but because of the deadline I could do it. It consist in taking the registration as soon as possible but to spanish-speaking countries. It is not what I wantdefinitely but considering my position and the facts, it is an available option. But alsothe problem is that most of people who want to an exchange don't speak another language, just spanish and that's why my possibilities to get it will be lower.

What should I do? This is the question that I cannot answer yet.

About me

Hi everybody this is Eli Nava I’m 20 years Old and I´m economics' student. I was born and grown up in Veracruz City which is located in east Mexican coast. Right now I'm living in Mexico City. I moved here in July 21st 2009 because of college. When I arrived in Mexico City I didn't know anyone! But happily I'm not in that condition anymore. I've met wonderful people from everywhere and I love sharing special time with them.

I define myself as a nice and happy boy who loves to take his time to enjoy life's good things like spending time with family, languages, drinking coffee or tea with friends, watching movies (specially horror ones), listening music from all around the world, playing video games, riding bicycle and being in touch with nature!!!

I'm studying English (as you can see) and Chinese. My favorite color is Green (I promise I'm not jealous), I also love to sing, in fact I am part of the university's choir, my vocal range is from C2 to E#4 so I’m bass, I was forgetting to mention that I play the French horn :) If you want to join me in my English learning trip I would be really happy to share it.

My ideal girl

My ideal girl is a really nice lady; she's patient, understanding, sweet, darling and also smiling.
I'd rather that she has a good sense of humor because I think that lough is necesary in order to avoid the monotony relationships; I'd prefer that she would like to sing or at least that she doesn't bother if I sing because I'm really noisy and I sing even out of shower!

Physically she would be slim, average height, if she's tanned skin it's better :) I'd like she's got long straigh black/brown hair and she has to like babies because I want to have one at least.

I'd like to find my soulmate once and ever; I don't know if it's possible but I'd like.
